DK weight wool yarn made with 3 plys.  It is a firm and evenly spun yarn so is well suited to any textured knitting as it lets the texture stand out well. The yarn is very durable and wears beautifully. 

The white wool originates from New Zealand, and the brown and grey wool's used for the s-colours originate from Gotland sheep in Europe. The supplier in New Zealand is a brand partner of the Wool Integrity program that ensures that the principles under this program such as an animal welfare, environmental sustainability and traceability are met. This yarn is spun and dyed in Denmark.

A 100 gram hank is actually made with 2 x 50 gram skeins so this yarn is sold in 50 grams units.  This may mean you receive a skein with a photocopy of the original ball band.
